Research

My research interest lies in the interface of statistics and optimization inspired by important applications (sensor networks, healthcare, and industrial quality control), with a particular interest in sequential change-point detection, distributionally robust hypothesis testing, and spatio-temporal modeling.

I am very fortunate to work with my supervisor Professor Yao Xie at Georgia Tech and collaborate with Professor Rui Gao, Professor Anatoli Juditsky, Professor Pinar Keskinocak, Professor Fan-Chi Lin, Professors George V. Moustakides, Professor Arkadi Nemirovski, Professor WenZhan Song, Professor Shihao Yang (listed alphabetically). I am also collaborating with colleagues at ISyE, including Tyler Perini and Shixiang Zhu on COVID-19 related modeling and detection (check the dashboard developed by Tyler!), and  Minghe Zhang on community detection.
