The user experience (UX) has played a significant role in driving Apple’s evolution and success. Primarily, this research aims to address the question, “how has Apple considered the voice of its consumers to manufacture products built for their everyday needs?”. To further explore the topic, this research also aims to answer the more focused research question, “in what ways have changes in various Apple products reflected changes in the demands of society, and how does this reflect the importance of UX in modern technology?”
These questions will be explored with the goal of appealing to a broad audience of students, professionals, and enthusiasts in the Computer Science and Engineering fields while contributing to a deeper understanding of the significance of user experience in modern technology. Additionally, as opposed to our initial plan, we intend to approach these questions from multiple viewpoints in order to provide a more well-rounded analysis. Overall, we intend to explore the history of Apple computers to study the effects that users’ criticisms have had on production, analyze the intended consumer market over the years, and bring to light any pivotal changes Apple has made in accordance with society’s standards of technology.
