About Me

I recently completed a Software Engineering internship at Goldman Sachs, where I contributed to building and optimizing large-scale systems. Previously, I served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Internet Intelligence Lab at Georgia Tech, working on the Internet Outage Detection and Analysis (IODA) project to enhance the usability of its near-real-time data analytics platform. I am currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant for CSE 6140: Computational Science and Engineering Algorithms, where I support students in mastering advanced algorithmic techniques.

Professional Experience

Goldman Sachs (June 2025 – August 2025): During my internship at Goldman Sachs, I enhanced an internal portfolio management tool with Tax Loss Harvesting (TLH) features, enabling traders to self-configure replacement CUSIPs. This streamlined workflows, reduced dependency on technical support, and improved efficiency in managing high-net-worth client accounts.

Oracle (June 2022 – August 2024) : Before this, I worked as a Software Engineer (MTS) at Oracle for more than 2 years, where I contributed to mission-critical cloud services (ExaCC). My experience includes building microservices, optimizing and automating complex workflows, and developing highly available and scalable software solutions using the latest cloud technologies (AWS, OCI). I have hands-on experience in shipping new features, from API development to UI enhancements, and I am well-versed in test-driven development, OOP principles, and applying computer science fundamentals to solve complex problems.

Google Summer of Code 2021 (June 2021 – Sep 2021) : I got selected selected as one of 1,318 students globally from over 20,651 applicants.I contributed to open source project Musicblocks under the guidance of Dr. Walter Bender. My project primarily focused on optimizing a block based programming language and graphics management using p5.js and its integration with React.

ZEDEDA (Jan 2022 – June 2022): I spent 6 months working as a Software Engineer Intern in this IOT edge cloud startup where I primarily designed the prototype and wrote code on VMs configuration on a new edge device and install AWS Greengrass service with just a click on the portal using QEMU and packer. I got skilled in writing bash scripts, configuration management and AWS cloud services.

Yum! Brands (June 2021 – August 2021) : I worked here as front end developer (6 months) using modern web development tools like ReactJS, antd, vanillaJS, mocha, E2E testing using selenium, NodeJS, slack integration, Automation. I created several react components using advanced features of React and set up CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins. Based on my performance, I was offered a pre-placement offer for full time employment.

Research and Interests

Additionally, I have explored leveraging machine learning techniques in the financial sector, worked extensively with relational databases, and collaborated with cross-functional teams. I also like to attend programming contests on leetcode and actively contribute to open source softwares (OSS).

IIT Mandi

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi (July 2018 – June 2022), along with a minor degree in management.

Relevant Courses:
1. Data Structure and Algorithms (CS 202)
2. Algorithm Design and Analysis (CS 6242)
3. Information and Database Systems (CS 309)
4. Pattern Recognition (CS 669)
5. Paradigms of Programming (CS 302)
6. Compiler Design (CS 502)
7. Map Reduce and Big Data (CS 561)
8. Intro to Communicating Distributed Processes (CS 310)
9. Systems Practicum (CS 307)
10.Principles of Economics (HS 302)
11.Essentials of Entrepreneurship (HS 510)

Vibe Coded Project

  • I developed a multi-page web application using Vibe code to manage and process video auctions. The system is structured with a clear modular architecture:
  • Admin Page: Users can create auction IDs and trigger the auction workflow.
  • Auction Workflow: Implemented in Python, the workflow handles downloading videos, uploading them to Wasabi cloud storage, and tracking processed videos to avoid duplicates.
  • Scheduler: Automates re-triggering of the auction workflow at regular intervals, ensuring timely processing.
  • Integration for ML: Processed videos are made available for downstream ML pipelines, where models analyze and generate insights such as horse costs.
  • This design separates user-facing functionality, background processing, storage, and ML integration, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and maintainability.

Research Projects

  • Internet Outage Detection and Analysis (August 2024 – Present) : I am working with UX designers, research scientists, notable social organizations to improve the utility of real time analysis and streaming data analytics system (IODA) , which integrates diverse datasets to monitor and improve Internet infrastructure security and reliability for a broad user base, including both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • MCTS4DM (SubGroup Discovery): reviewed a paper using Monte Carlo based pattern mining algorithm that is able to consider tabular data with numerical and categorical attributes and to extract patterns that distinguish a target (subgroup discovery).

Development Projects

  • C4DFED – Slot Booking App (LAMP) – developed a SPA progressive web app for University Lab as a Course Project Competition and added CRUD functionality and automatic bill generation, using MongoDB database.
  • DropOffdesigned and developed a web application to solve delivery of essentials in remote hilly areas based on peer to peer service concept with the motto – ‘earn while you travel. Used MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). Received runner up award in Rakuten innovation hackathon.
  • Estip Appbuilt a basic ML project that predicts about the requirements of BNG device using Machine Learning Models deployed using Flask API. Supports memory storage requirements predictions for no. of subscribers, bandwidth and speed (packets per second).
