Dr. Nastaran Moradloo is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech. She earned her Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Before that, she completed a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Iran. During her Ph.D., Dr. Moradloo focused on evaluating the role of autonomous vehicles in improving road safety, specifically addressing operational safety challenges in mixed-traffic environments. Her earlier Master’s research at the Sharif University of Technology emphasized system management in pricing vehicle characteristics to reduce air pollution and upgrade technology, shaping her understanding of sustainable transportation solutions.
