Seventh Student Simulation Challenge
Theme: Open-Source Code Design and Development Challenge
The challenge is to develop a standalone application or a library with an application programming interface (api) for one of the three composites problems that will be published on August 1, 2019. This code challenge will focus on developing tools for education and research in the field of composites and will span the areas of process-structure relationships (manufacturing), structure-property models(micromechanics and homogenization), constitutive laws macro-scale multi-physics behaviors, and simulation-assisted design of composite systems.
