Research Definition: Compiling facts in order to illustrate a specific point.
Objective Observation: I noticed that the flyers in front of us all relate to a basketball game between St Joseph and Butler University. Most of the pictures appear to be in black and white while the art is in color. The flyers seem to consist of a combination of information about the team and advertisements.
Conclusion Drawing: It is clear that they are from a long time as they have a 90s style. Additionally, since they are only charging 10 cents for a ticket, it is evident that this game happened before the 2000s. Furthermore, these observations may raise the question of how college basketball games were viewed in the past. In fact, through the well-designed nature of the paper as well as the number of sponsors it is evident that college basketball was taken very seriously in the past.
Object Stories: After seeing the artifacts together, it appears that the full story follows a woman named Cissy’s life. She was born and raised in a small town in Indiana. Eventually, she went to high and joined the dance team. Additionally, she met a man named Jeff who played for the basketball team and the two got married. They started a family and raised a son and a daughter. Eventually, Cissy dies due to cancer while Jeff goes on to remarry.
