Riding Options on Campus
Bike Share
Shareable Dockless Devices
Riders of shareable dockless mobility devices are encouraged to inspect devices before riding, wear a helmet, and follow all City guidelines regarding safe operation. On campus, devices should be parked beside bike racks and in designated areas.
Purchase a Bike
Whether buying a new or used bike, choose a bike that is safe, fits well, and has appropriate gearing for the hills on campus. Help with repairs and maintenance is available on campus.
Starter Bikes
Starter Bikes is a student organization providing members of the Georgia Tech community free access to tools to repair their bikes and guidance from trained volunteers.
Repairs & Maintenance
Buy a Bike
Starter Bikes sells used bikes to the Georgia Tech community through a raffle system; all bikes must pass the ABC Quick Test prior to being purchased.
Complete this form to register for future raffles.
Volunteer
Starter Bikes relies upon curious and passionate student volunteers to keep campus rolling. Interested in volunteering? Talk to a Starter Bikes officer.
Bike Repairs at the Community Market
Aztec Cycles brings their mobile shop to the Community Market each Wednesday during the semester from 10am-2pm. The Community Market is located outside of the Exhibition Hall.
Bike Parking Rooms
The Dalney (W22) and Tech Square (E81) parking decks feature secure, covered bike parking for commuters. Students, faculty, and staff have access to the bike rooms via BuzzCard.
Bike Registration
Registering your bike with the Georgia Tech Police Department will allow you to be contacted if your bike is stolen and recovered. Upon registering, you will be provided a decal for your bike, which should be mounted on your bike’s seat tube or down tube and may act as a theft deterrent, as thieves know that the bike can be traced. To inquire about stolen bikes, please contact the GTPD at 404-894-2500.
