The Pillar of a Community
Friendship Baptist Church is more than just a community building. The 19th century edifice also held a fascinating history itself, tied to the foundation of Morehouse College and Spelman College. Learn more about the history below.

This replica of the church was designed to also serve as a birdhouse, as a home for the local Carolina Chickadees whose numbers have decreased in recent years.

Birdhouses in Washington Park
This building, along with three other replica-birdhouse projects, will be installed in Washington Park, Atlanta, in Fall 2019. There, the buildings will serve a new and interactive purpose telling these and other stories through multi-media.
