Alzheimer’s

As one of the most common causes of dementia, Alzheimer’s is an irreversible brain disorder that is progressive and destroys memory. The disease develops in a patients over time, eventually rendering the individual incapable of carrying simple day to day tasks. While there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, current treatments have the ability of slowing down the progression of the disease and improve the quality of life of the individuals. As our team is interested in working with cognitive disorders, we are keen on developing a mobile application that can be beneficial to both the Alzheimer’s patient and the caregiver.

We believe that a mobile application that is the best way to create specificity for Alzheimer’s patients treatment while allowing caregivers to keep updated on their progress and find ways to make their therapies more effective. BTAP is looking to pursue an app that would cater to the specific needs of Alzheimer’s patients, utilizing cognitive therapies and memory exercises, along with physical directions to help improve their rate of deterioration.
