Ruirui Ma

Ruirui is a first-year robotics Ph.D. student in the Aerospace department. He graduated from Georgia Tech with bachelor’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Mathematics in Spring 2023. His undergraduate research investigated motion planning for robot painting. He recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in robotics. During his time at Penn, he explored research topics on reinforcement learning for agile quadcopter flight, graph neural network solutions to the multi-vehicle routing problem, and the multi-robot coverage problem.

His research interests focus on studying the decision-making process in multi-agent systems using tools from optimization, game theory, and machine learning. Right now, he is researching resource allocation in multi-agent systems using auction algorithms.
