Recently, our PI Dr. Mitchell was honored with the Young Faculty Award by Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. This award is given to rising young professors who are making a mark in their field. At the same time, Dr. Voit, another BME professor, received the Sustained Research Award. These two BME professors winning these awards concurrently shows the impact and recognition that computational tools in Biomedical Engineering have come to receive. We are very proud of Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Voit and are so happy to congratulate them!

It is sponsored by Google and Lime Connect, which is a nonprofit that supports students with disabilities who are pursuing education and promising careers. This scholarship focuses on undergraduate students with disabilities who are studying computer science.
