Morningside Drug Repurposing

Summary:

This project is a collaboration with a team at Emory University’s Morningside Center, which focuses on drug repurposing for colorectal cancer. We develop models and tools for automatic curation of randomized clinical trial articles (RTCs). So far, our toolset includes a querying pipeline for filtering articles from PubMed, and deep learning models for extraction of relevant sentences and information from text. We also plan on building tools that: (1) efficiently model articles by their topic for more fine grained article filtering, and (2) build Knowledge Graphs that capture the current research surrounding a topic.
