- Tawfik Hussein has been awarded the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (Parent F31) from the NIH NHLBI, effective September 10, 2024. His research will focus on A Multiscale Computational Model of the Heart for Patient-specific Diagnosis of HFpEF.

- Christian Park has received the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (Parent F31) from the NIH NHLBI. In this project, he will study the reprogramming of arterial cells, especially endothelial cells, during atherogenesis and identify novel therapeutic targets for atherosclerosis.
