Amadeus is a travel technology company headquartered in Madrid, Spain that has offices throughout the world. A majority of employees in Amadeus’ research and development and product marketing teams that are focused on airline revenue management are located in its offices in Nice, France, and Copenhagen, Denmark.
Amadeus has well-established internship programs for undergraduate and graduate students that primarily attract students from France and Denmark. At the undergraduate level, students typically work at Amadeus for four to six months and learn how to build a model and evaluate its performance. Amadeus also has strong connections with local universities in Denmark and helps to jointly advise and support MS theses.
Several US students, including AGIFORS Anna Valicek finalists Adam Bockelie, Emmanuel Carrier, Kevin Wang, and Mike Wittman, did research visits with Amadeus while they were graduate students at MIT. Amadeus is open to sponsoring similar research visits for graduate students at Georgia Tech working with ATL@GT.
