The mission of the Air Transportation Lab at Georgia Tech (ATL@GT) is to lead research and education activities related to airline revenue management. The center is currently focused on conducting research related to offer management, ancillary pricing, and continuous pricing based on recent advancements in new distribution capability, cloud computing, and machine learning.
ATL@GT serves as the focal point at Georgia Tech to organize interdisciplinary research in revenue management by leveraging the Institute’s expertise in all engineering disciplines, data science and analytics, and economics. The center collaborates with the AI Institute for Advances in Optimization (ai4opt), a NSF-funded center led by Dr. Pascal van Hentenryck at Georgia Tech. ATL@GT develops research products including simulation models, demand estimation techniques, and revenue optimization models. The center works with corporate sponsors to identify and carry out research and educational initiatives that align with industry needs.
