We welcome motivated students and collaborators who are passionate about human-centered integration of technologies (HIT). Our research integrates multimodal sensing, data analytics, and robotics to create adaptive, safe, and human-centered work environments. We are seeking enthusiastic Ph.D., M.S., and undergraduate students!

Research Topics (include but are not limited to)

  • Human Response-Adaptive Robot Behavior and Control
  • Multimodal-Based Human Response Analysis During Human-Robot Collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with machine/deep learning, computer vision, data analysis, and/or signal processing.
  • Experience in robotics and control (e.g., ROS, robotic simulation platforms, motion planning, and/or control algorithms)
  • Experience in human sensing technologies such as wearable devices (e.g., EEG, EDA, IMU, HRV, eye-tracking) and computer vision-based systems (e.g., 2D/3D motion tracking).
  • Experience in artificial general intelligence (AGI)-based applications (e.g., large language model (LLM)-driven simulations).
  • Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++)
