CEE-DEI Horace King Scholarship Fund
School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Aims The CEE-DEI Horace King Scholarship aims to offer financial support to current CEE undergraduate students.
Award Administration The CEE DEI committee will make final selection of students to receive a scholarship based on their review of the application form.
Scholarship Award Amount Selected applicants will receive up to $2,250.00 scholarship per student per academic semester (Fall & Spring semesters).
Use of Scholarship No restrictions.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Application is open to all Georgia Tech students currently enrolled as a fulltime student in one of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) programs.
- Undergraduate CEE students will receive priority.
- Members of the underrepresented groups and first-generation students will receive priority.
- The scholarship will be awarded primarily on the basis of financial need, interest in the field (CEE) and career goals, and anticipated contribution to reducing workload outside of school.
- Former scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.

- A summary essay on their academic qualifications and career goals.
- Letter(s) of recommendation.
