CEE DEI Horace King Scholarship Fund
School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Aims The CEE DEI Horace King Scholarship aims to offer financial support to current CEE undergraduate students.
Award Administration The CEE DEI committee will make final selection of students to receive a scholarship based on their review of the application form.
Scholarship Award Amount Selected applicants will receive up to $2,000.00 scholarship per student per academic semester (Fall & Spring semesters).
Use of Scholarship No restrictions.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Application is open to all Georgia Tech students currently enrolled as a fulltime student in one of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) programs.
- Undergraduate CEE students will receive priority.
- Members of the underrepresented groups and first-generation students will receive priority.
- The scholarship will be awarded primarily on the basis of financial need, interest in the field (CEE) and career goals, and anticipated contribution to reducing workload outside of school.
- Former scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.

- A summary essay on their academic qualifications and career goals.
- Letter(s) of recommendation.
