Faculty focus group: Increase recruitment and retention of URM faculty 

·       Get involved in faculty search committee as described in the CDI by-laws 

·       Include D&I activities in the on-site interview schedule of faculty candidates 

·       Create a more robust mentoring program for URM faculty members 

Governance focus group: Explore ways to involve staff in academic governance 

·       Increase participating of staff members in committees 

·       Propose systemic changes to increase engagement of staff in academic governance
