Biography

Bryan Regan is an MS student in the Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University. His research interests are in experimental rotary wing aerodynamics with a focus on UAV and RAM applications. In his free time he enjoys flying model airplanes, reading, and golfing.

Research

Bryan researches electric ducted fan (EDF) characterization for UAM/RAM applications. This research focuses on studying the performance of isolated EDFs as well as their integration into RAM/UAM applications.

Future Plans

After graduating from Georgia Tech, Bryan will attend Air Force helicopter pilot training at Fort Novosel, Alabama.
