Dr. Ajit Yoganathan was honored at an Honorary Symposium at the Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering and Biotransport Conference in Cambrdige, Maryland. The symposium was hosted by Dr. Lakshmi Prasad Dasi and Dr. Keefe Manning (The Pennsylvania State University).
Many of Dr. Y’s colleagues, past students and collaborators such as Dr. Mark Fogel (Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia), Dr. Pedro Del Nido (Boston’s Childrens), Dr. Michael Sacks (University of Texas, Austin), Dr. Erin Spinner (Global Clinical Program Director – Abbott), Dr. Lakshmi Prasad Dasi and Dr. Keefe Manning spoke in honor of his revolutionary work in translational medicine in his 45 year long career. Dr. Kerem Pekkan of Koç University was also in attendance of this event.
The symposium was attended by his current and past employees and students along with Dr. Y’s wife and children, who extended their love support for him.
