Our lab is committed to both expanding the boundaries of the biopacemaker field and sharing our findings with society. By showcasing our work at events, such as Georgia Tech’s Buzz on Biotechnology and the Atlanta Science Festival, we hope to engage the community with the wonderful prospects of heart regeneration and inspire future generations to become endeavoring scientists themselves. Pictures and videos of our work can be seen below.

hhhhh | Hosting the Cardiovascular Anatomy booth at the Atlantic Science Festival this year, we taught children and adults of all ages about the anatomy and physiology of the heart with chicken and pig heart demos. Families from the surrounding metro-Atlanta gathered to learn about the different structures of the heart and how blood is pumped to all areas of the body. This event was held in collaboration with the Bioengineering & Bioscience Unified Graduate Students (BBUGS) at Georgia Tech. |
