Georgia Tech Department of Housing RA

  • Created a community environment for a group of 35 girls who live in a communal living space. Enforce safety and courtesy rules for the resident halls. Acted as the point of contact for 400 people in case of emergency or other unexpected situations and advised residents about any questions and resolved any conflicts they have.
  • Spearhead building-wide initiatives and host a variety of events once a week that adhere to a social distancing protocol and mask procedure to ensure the safety of all residents.
  • Emphasized inclusive practices and the use of pronouns to respect resident identities.

Hosted 30 Events and averaged around 50% attendance (15/30 residents) at each event.

Georgia Tech Counselling Center Student Assistant

  • Responsible for restructuring and maintaining the information management procedures. Used Excel skills to organize sheets of information so that it is readable, and information is easily accessible.
  • Migrated management system to Microsoft Teams and managed a staff of 10 instructors for trainings.
  • Brainstormed methods for more manageable data collecting systems.
  • Implemented web embedded surveys for more organized user interactions.
  • Designed an informational poster that provides campus and off-campus resources in a readable and visually appealing manner.

Excel Organization:

The original organization system was just an unformatted excel sheet. There were several numbers that were needed from the trackers for final reports.

  • The Instructors Tracker records the number of trainings they have instructed in the given time period. They have a requirement to host 4 trainings. I made a formula that automatically counts the number of training based on the number of times their name is entered in the Training Tracker. A color scale was added for easy indication of who has met the training quota.
  • The Training Tracker holds the specific details of each training. There are formulas that handle totaling the numbers and connecting the information between sheets.
  • The Total Number Tracker holds the total numbers and takes the information from the training tracker sheets.

Collaborated as a member on 5 projects consisting of 2-4 team members who were responsible for converting concepts to designs using wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Provided UI/UX recommendations based on conducted user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis.

Performed Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 migrations and Drupal 8 to WordPress migrations and ensured sites are content manager friendly.
