Undergraduate Research Assistant – Fall 2025

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Undergraduate Researcher to join our lab for the Fall 2025 semester. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment focused on neuroscience and cellular imaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ongoing research projects under the supervision of the postdoc
  • Prepare tissue samples and perform histological techniques
  • Maintain laboratory records and follow established safety protocols
  • Participate in lab meetings and contribute to data analysis as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or background in biology, neuroscience, or related fields
  • Prior experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC), neuroimaging and/or cryostat sectioning is highly recommended but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and work both independently and collaboratively

Time Commitment:
Students are expected to commit 15–20 hours per week in the lab during the semester.
