Crane Safety Research Center Marks One-Year Anniversary
Georgia Tech hosted a one-day symposium in April to share the center’s latest research findings and priorities. Industry speakers also presented information on crane operations and safety.
2025 Annual Meeting

Our 2025 Annual Meeting was held on April 10-11. The meeting featured a celebratory dinner on April 10 followed by lab tours, lunch, and presentations from researchers as well as industry partners and guests on April 11. AIM 2024 Poster Session Photos
Professor Singhose and Tyler Rome attended the AIM 2024 conference in Boston in July. They presented some of our recent work on studying crane accidents and developing a small-scale experimental tower crane for tip-over experiments during a poster session.

Crane Safety Research Center Established at Georgia Tech
Focusing primarily on tower and boom cranes, the center aims to precisely calculate the potential falling distance of cranes during tower crane assembly, disassembly, and reconfiguration procedures.
