The Southeastern Cyber Cup is a national-level higher education cyber competition hosted by Georgia Tech Cyber Security in partnership with Deloitte. The Southeastern Cyber Cup is open to cybersecurity and IT students and professionals and is held to generate enthusiasm and excitement around cybersecurity careers.

COMPETITION DETAILS

How it Works

The Cyber Cup aims to address real-world cyber tasks within a virtual setting. Each task requires participants to find a specific text sequence known as a “flag.” Points are awarded based on the complexity of the task. The competitor with the highest score by the conclusion is declared the winner. A real-time scoreboard tracks the ongoing progress of participants. The contest begins on November 2, 2023, at 8 a.m. EST and concludes with the announcement of the winner on November 9, 2023.
