jacqueline restrepo
Dolores Huerta is a Mexican-American labor leader and civil rights advocate for migrant farm workers. She was the cofounder of the United Farm Workers with Cesar Chavez and helped lead and organize the Delano grape strike in California. Her birthplace in Dawson, New Mexico shows the history of Dolores and is important for other laborers as a former mining town.
