Albert is originally from Wuhan, China. He obtained a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Data Science from UC Berkeley in spring 2025. During his time there, he worked with Prof. Joseph Orenstein on research related to domain wall phase transitions for ferromagnetic materials.
In fall 2025, Albert joined Prof. Ali Adibi’s research group as a Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His current research interests center on integrated photonics and inverse photonic design.
