Mengqi Huang is from Hubei Province, China. He joined Professor Ali Adibi’s research group in 2024 as a Ph.D. student in the School of Physics. He obtained his B.S. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2020 and his M.S. in Physics from the University of California, San Diego, in 2023.
His research focuses on designing hybrid structures of color centers and integrated photonics and exploring their applications in quantum technology. Prior to joining the group, he primarily worked on applying quantum sensing techniques to condensed matter systems.
