Sparsh is from Cleveland, OH and graduated with his BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2023. He returned to OSU for his MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Solid State Electronics and Photonics in 2023. His thesis, a collaborative project between OSU and AFRL, focused on the simulation, design, and optical characterization of III-V semiconductor based topological laser arrays. Sparsh joined Professor Adibi’s Photonics Research Group as a Ph.D. Student in 2025. His interest lies in quantum photonics and quantum sensing.
