Tyler Aldrich Brown is from Odum, Georgia. He received a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019. He joined the Photonics Research Group in 2020 as a Ph.D. student, where he was awarded the Georgia Tech President’s Fellowship. His research focuses on combining metaphotonic and integrated optic principles to manipulate light, fabricating hybrid nanophotonic structures to be used in advanced quantum systems.
