Spreading Access to and Knowledge of EMS
EMS at Tech is dedicated to everything related to the emergency medical services for Georgia Tech’s campus. Whether that’s educating the public on emergency care, providing clinical opportunities for members, or facilitating improved ambulance response for the campus – EMS at Tech is committed to the campus community.
Operations
EMS at Tech has partnered with Grady EMS to improve response times for the campus community by staffing an ambulance.
Through service, our members help provide care for the entire campus.
Outreach
Recognizing the importance for collegiate EMS in getting involved with the community, EMSaT prioritizes connecting with the campus through various initiatives.
This includes first-aid training, CPR certification, and public tabling events. Community is the most important part of what EMS at Tech does.
Education
We’re preparing our members for successful careers in emergency medicine, healthcare, and leadership. Doing so requires the best training possible.
EMS at Tech uses skill drills, peer lectures, guest speakers, and site visits to advance our members’ EMS skills and knowledge.
