Phoenix Cluster

The Phoenix cluster is our largest computational resource. It comprises more than 1,300 compute nodes, including compute nodes with GPUs and nodes with a large amount of memory. All GT/GTRI faculty (academic and research) can apply for a free-tier account, which is equivalent to 10,000 CPU-hours per month and 1 TB of storage. Additional compute and storage credits can be purchased if needed. GT faculty can add students, staff, and other collaborators to their accounts. This cluster runs the SLURM scheduler, and a large software stack is supported. It is accessible through a terminal and through a web browser interface called OpenOnDemand.

PI should contact pace-support@oit.gatech.edu to request a free tier account on the Phoenix. If adding additional group members to the allocation, PI may provide group members’ GT Account names. An active PI account is required for addition of users to a group.
