The outlook for aviation is looking decidedly futuristic with capabilities like eVTOL air taxis, autonomous regional transport, and drone delivery already on the horizon. Advanced air mobility (AAM) has captured the public’s imagination and driven innovation from industry, academic, and public sectors. However, change is needed throughout the aviation ecosystem to get us AAM ready. How will facets like technology, infrastructure, public engagement, and policy simultaneously evolve to bring AAM safely to market? That’s the multi-billion-dollar question.
