Spring Meal Plan FAQs

I am no longer a First Year student by credit hours. Am I still required to have a First Year Plan?

All students that are classified as First Year, on campus, students by housing are required to have a First Year meal plan.  If you have a First Year plan in the Fall, you are still required to have one in the spring regardless of credit hours.

Students that transfer in for the Spring semester and are considered First Year by housing will have to have a meal plan as well.

Am I still required to have a Spring Meal Plan if I am moving off campus during the Spring Semester?

You are not required to have a meal plan if you move off campus.

It is important to note that Greek Housing is still considered to be on-campus housing.  For more information about Greek meal plans, please see our Greek page.

I want to switch to a lower meal pass plan in the spring.

Unfortunately, you are required to have one of the First Year Meal Plans.  First Year Students can choose between the First Year Unlimited and the First Year Flex Plan.

I was able to cancel my First Year Meal Plan in the TechEats App. Am I still required to have the First Year Plan?

Yes, with all technology errors can happen.  We do a audit of all meal plans in the first couple of weeks of the Spring Semester.  Any First Year student that does not have a First Year Meal Plan on their account will be defaulted to the plan they had in the Fall.
