Graduate Students

We are interested in working with highly motivated students interested in studies of catalytic mechanisms and the design of improved catalytic materials. Well-prepared students will have undergraduate training in Chemical Engineering, other engineering disciplines, or Chemistry and prior experimental experience (although not necessarily in catalysis or surface science). We have several funded projects for 3-4 graduate students joining in Fall 2024! Post-Doctoral Researchers

We have funded projects for 1-2 post-doctoral researchers! Interested candidates should contact Prof. Dave Flaherty at dflaherty3 at gatech dot edu about possible projects that would begin in Fall 2024. Candidates should include a cover letter, complete CV, and contact information for three references.

Undergraduate Students

We are currently looking for undergraduate researchers! Interested students should email Prof. Dave Flaherty at dflaherty3 at gatech dot edu and include the following: 1) a cover letter explaining your interest in our group, 2) a current resume including prior research and work experiences, and 3) a copy of your transcript. A GPA of at least 3.5 is preferred. Undergraduate researchers spend a minimum of 10 hours per week working diligently in the lab.
