Project: Alkane selective oxidation

Project Description: Alkane selective oxidation aims to convert inert alkanes into valuable oxygenated products, such as alcohols, aldehydes, and acids, under mild conditions, is a critical reaction in catalysis. This process is of great significance for the efficient utilization of hydrocarbons in the chemical industry, enabling the transformation of abundant feedstocks like methane and ethane into high-value chemicals. Therefore, my project will focus on the developing advanced catalysts to achieve high activity and oxygenates selectivity. My main interest is to better understand the catalytic mechanism and kinetics of the oxidation process.
