RECRUITMENT
Submit your application by 11:59 PM February 28th
Membership in the Alpha Eta Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa is considered one of the highest honors attainable for a Georgia Tech student. Membership is awarded to undergraduate students who have completed at least 60 hours, graduate students, and members of the faculty and administration. As a member, you are expected to attend biweekly meetings on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, where the Circle discusses campus issues and develops leadership among its members. Additionally, the Circle hosts many events and committee initiatives throughout the school year. Past ODK projects include the establishment of the first Student Center at Georgia Tech and the establishment of the Mental Health Think Tank. We hope to continue to utilize our network of campus-wide leaders to impact the Georgia Tech community.

Frequently Asked Questions:
– Do I need to know someone in the circle or be nominated in order to apply?
Not at all! In fact, we are looking to make our student and org representation more diverse this recruitment cycle, so we are glad that you are considering applying.
– If I get tapped (accepted) into your circle, will I stop hearing from you once I pay the $90 fee?
Definitely not! ODK is not merely a recognition honor society. We are passionate about our school and we strive to find ways to address different issues that we recognize. We also aim to promote collaboration and discussion between different orgs on campus. As a member, you will be able to interact with and learn from all the other talented members of our circle, and you also have the opportunity to brainstorm and perhaps lead different initiatives, both within our circle and on campus.
– I have many other involvements/I am quite busy this semester. As a member, will I need to dedicate a lot of time to ODK?
No, we have very few mandatory events and responsibilities. We don’t want your membership in ODK to detract from your other involvements, only enhance them.
– I still do not believe that I will have the time to be a member of ODK.
We understand. We still invite you to apply in the future. In the meantime, if there is someone you know who might be a good candidate for our circle, feel free to nominate them using this form: https://tinyurl.com/odk-sp2021-nomination
