Local Info

GWPAW 2025 will take place in person at the Exhibition Hall on the Georgia Tech campus.

Location:

Georgia Tech – Exhibition Hall Midtown

Walking directions from the Exhibition Hall:
From the main entrance of the Exhibition Hall, make a right towards the Dunkin. Take the path to the left of the Dunkin (next to a student garden). Make another right towards the Boggs Building and W21 parking lot. Take the path between the Allen and Mason buildings and make a left on Atlantic Drive NW. The Howey Physics Building will be on your left.

Transportation:

Campus Bus – Stinger

If you are staying in/near the local accommodations (listed above) in Midtown or are arriving to Midtown via MARTA, the “Gold,” “Blue,” and “Clough” routes can connect you from Midtown to campus/the Exhibition hall. The closest stops to the venue are the Exhibition Hall stop and the CRC and Stamps Health Center. During peak hours, the estimated frequency of the buses is 10 minutes. Campus buses are free.

MARTA

Georgia Tech is served by two MARTA rail stations: Midtown and North Ave

  • Midtown Station: Directly connected to the Gold Stinger route
  • North Ave Station: Within walking distance of East Campus or a few blocks away from the “Blue” Stinger bus route

Driving Directions/Parking

  • Driving South on I-75/85 into Atlanta
    Take Exit # 249D (Spring Street, North Avenue). At the top of the exit ramp, go through the first intersection (Spring Street). At the next intersection (West Peachtree Street), turn left. Continue on West Peachtree Street for approximately one block and turn left onto North Avenue. Cross over the interstate and Techwood Drive. Turn right on Techwood Parkway and continue to the top of the hill.
    Turn right on Regents Drive, followed by an immediate right onto Ferst Drive. Once you are on Ferst Drive, an entrance to the W02 Parking Deck will be on the left. Note that the deck entry has two lanes. 
  • Driving North on I-75/85 into Atlanta
    Take Exit # 249D (North Avenue). At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto North Ave. Continue on North Ave. approximately 3 blocks until you reach the intersection at Techwoord Parkway. Turn right on Techwood Parkway and continue to the top of the hill. Turn right on Regents Drive, followed by an immediate right onto Ferst Drive. Once you are on Ferst Drive, an entrance to the W02 Parking Deck will be on the left. Note that the deck entry has two lanes. 

Note: The physical location for the  Exhibition Hall is 460 Fourth Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30332. This will not get you to Visitor Parking. This address is best used as GPS walking directions. The W02 Parking Deck address is 355 Ferst Drive NW, Atlanta, GA.

The closest parking to exhibition hall are Visitor Area 2: Student Center and Visitor Area 3: Student Center Deck (W02). Payment via debit/credit. Find prices and more information here.
