Congratulations to Dr. Owen Beck who has won a two-year endowed fellowship to study the balance issues of individuals with Parkinson’s Disease through the McCamish Innovation Program (https://parkinsons.gatech.edu). His project aims to link rigidity to balance ability and in turn demonstrate how the use of ankle exoskeletons can improve the balance ability of individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
