HAAG is dedicated to open science, and therefore the open-source development of models, tools, pipelines, and documentation. This is all spear-headed by our Open-Source Initiatives (OSI, not to be confused with Office of Student Integrity) Unit. Find below our current open-source initiatives:

Collaboration with PACE

As part of their work, HAAG researchers frequently use the computing resources provided by Georgia Tech’s Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (PACE). This affords us the opportunity to assist PACE by generating user documentation which they can add to their library for others to access and benefit from. Read more about our proposal pipeline and our current documentation at the following wiki pages…

PACE Tutorials for Researchers

PACE has also created some of tutorials of their own which users can access in Georgia Tech’s MediaSpace. Find a link to these video tutorials in the heading above.

Meet the Team

Charles (Charlie) R. Clark

Director of Open-Source Initiatives

Charlie is an OMSCS graduate and an incoming CS PhD student at the University of Florida; he is the first HAAG researcher to move onto doctoral studies. As part of his work with the OSI Unit, Charlie developed and runs HAAG’s collaboration with PACE, in which HAAG researchers are encouraged to synthesize open-source tutorials for the various models and tools they use in their research so that PACE can add them to their community documentation.
