Thank you to everyone that joined us for the BioSci Townhall Meeting this Monday! We were glad to see a good turnout of graduate students representing their respective programs. Building from the goals discussed within this group, we will be forming a BioSci Graduate Student Association (BioSci GSA) to implement changes based on the findings of the townhall meeting and act as liaisons for the graduate students from their respective program. This is a great opportunity to serve your graduate community, develop leadership skills and learn how to implement collective change in a higher education setting. We encourage you to think about people in your community that would be advocates and nominate them for this opportunity.
