May 16, 2024. The Center for Integration of the Origins of Life (iCOOL) hosted a mini symposium entitled “The art of origins: biopolymers, water, and other players near the origins of life” on May 14, 2024 at Georgia Tech. Artist Hannah Usadi presented on her origins-themed art. Undergraduate Amelfa Rose Bleyl presented research. Other speakers included Co-Is Jessica Bowman and Anton Petrov, PI Loren Williams, and invited speaker Doron Lancet of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. The symposium included an art exhibit showcasing the work of iCOOL’s Artist in Residence, Hannah Usadi.
