This program will run for 7 weeks: 1 week in Atlanta and 6 weeks in India. Below are the preliminary dates for the 2026 summer program.
May 11 – May 15:
Atlanta
We’ll start with 1 week of prep in Atlanta, consisting of lectures to lay foundations of global development and the history and politics of India. You’ll also have a chance to get to know your peers and faculty before going to India.
May 16:
Flight to Delhi
May 18 – June 7:
Delhi
Lectures, site visits, and field trips in and around the capital of the world’s largest democracy.
June 8:
Travel to Agra
June 9 – June 12:
Agra
We’ll visit one of the most famous monuments in the world, the Taj Mahal, and learn first-hand about the consequences of non-sustainable tourism.
June 13:
Travel to Mumbai
June 15 – June 25:
Mumbai
Lectures, site visits, and field trips in and around the financial center of India
June 26:
Travel to Delhi
June 27:
Flight back to Atlanta
