Oxford Program: I taught COE2001 Statics and COE3001 Deformable Mechanics in the Oxford Study Abroad Program at Worcester College, University of Oxford during alternating summers from 2004 to 2010. This is the second part of a Study Abroad Program that begins with courses taught concurrently with travel through several European cities before arriving at Oxford for a six week term. For more details, go to the Oxford Program Web Page or you can check out some of my impressions from several previous sessions.

Pacific Program: I taught COE3001 Deformable Mechanics and/or COE2001 Statics in the Wellington, NZ session of the Pacific Study Abroad Program in January-February of 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2016-2018, as well as in Dunedin, NZ in 2019. This is a great program for students who want to explore this part of the world while experiencing a much more personal level of instruction in small seminar-like classes. The program spends the first six weeks in New Zealand and moves to Australia and Fiji for the last six weeks. For more details, go to the Pacific Program Web Page, or to my impressions from several of the previous sessions.

Barcelona Program: I taught COE2001 Statics in the Fall Barcelona Study Abroad Program in October-November of 2023. We are housed at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in the suburbs a short train ride from the city center. This is a perfect program for students to experience a vibrant city on the Mediterranean Sea in the center of Europe. The program consists of two six-week sessions, and while the pace is intensive, the classes are small (~10 in Statics) and the instruction is more personal with many opportunities to meet with your instructors outside the classroom.
