Research

My research interests comprise both applied and methodological aspects of statistical learning & analytics integrated with engineering/domain knowledge. My current research focuses on the analysis of high-dimensional complex-structured data including multi-stream signals, images, videos, point clouds and network data, for system modeling, monitoring, diagnostics and prognostics. Some examples of my projects include:

  • Real-time analysis of high-dimensional tensor data for quality improvement
    Sponsor:  NSF, Boeing
    – Defect detection on images with applications in NDE methods
    – Monitoring and diagnosis of high-dimensional streaming data
