Advanced Detectors

Unique challenge: traditional detectors do not always work for nonproliferation and safety applications, including rough terrains, high temperatures and very high radiation fluxes.
 
Advanced and nontraditional detectors include these based on Cherenkov, fast neutron gas counters and robust systems.
