BIO:
Erick is a first-year M.S. in Medical Physics student at Georgia Tech. He is a native of New Orleans, LA and received his Bachelor’s in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana. While at Xavier, Erick had done research on all solid-state batteries and aerospace technology for two NASA labs. After graduating, he worked for the Focused Ultrasound Foundation in Charlottesville, VA and has kept a focus in medical technology for clinical applications. He is a former athlete and sport fanatic and hopes to translate his future research to preventing and rehabilitating sports injuries, especially to the head and neck area of football players. In his spare time, Erick enjoys working out, cooking, and doing car mechanic work with his dad!
