BIO:
Katie Lewis is a third-year undergraduate majoring in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering. She serves as Vice President of the Georgia Tech American Nuclear Society (ANS) chapter and is involved at the national level as co-chair of the Public Policy Education and Awareness Subcommittee. Katie is a Georgia Tech tour guide and enjoys playing volleyball with friends.
RESEARCH:
Katie is assisting with LANNS research related to the MARVEL micro-reactor project at Idaho National Laboratory. Her work focuses on exploring nonproliferation safeguards associated with this emerging technology through computational modeling using MCNP.
