BIO:
Patience Yockey graduated from Idaho State University with two bachelor’s degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Computer Science in 2022. Prior experiences include spending two years as an intern at Idaho National Laboratory with the nuclear cybersecurity and critical infrastructure groups assessing cybersecurity risks in LWR and advanced reactor systems and developing functional expansion tallies (FETs) for SHIFT Monte Carlo neutronics code as a research assistant at Idaho State University. In her free time, she enjoys advocating for parrot conservation and sleeping.
RESEARCH:
Patience’s research includes creation and cyber risk assessment of machine learning-based autonomous control systems and modeling techniques for advanced reactors. She joined LANNS group in March 2023.
